“Girl, glow up! Consistently catch people’s eye with your natural sparkle.” – Germany Kent

Our last AirBnB renters left and we returned home. It’s nice to be home walking in the neighborhood again. Simone the cat agrees!

We might not be at the beach anymore but Mr. D is still fascinated with fishing. Luckily his sister is willing to go with him.

We’ve had a great week finding water and wildlife wherever we can.

And celebrating the amazing, fantastic, delightful and lovely Miss O who turned 11 years old this week. My girl is glowing up! She loves the sign of the week so this one is posted in her honor!
How those kiddo’s have changed and grown up! What fun years ahead for all of you.

Home sweet home they say, and I can share that feeling! Beautiful flowers and kids. Can I still say kid when I refer to Ms O? She’s growing up so fast!

Braces! Pre-teen badge of honor. Mr. D’s stance on the sidewalk looks like a reflection of an older self.

Your kiddos sure have grown – almost overnight! It appears you are making the most of the waning days of summer. I am adjusting to the schedule change as school is back in for me. When do Miss O and Mr. D begin the school year? There is so much variability of when school starts and ends. Enjoy the week ahead…

We go back on Sept 2. You’re right – so much variability! Glad your 6th graders are getting to enjoy some time with you, Clay!

had the same thought as a few other commenters…your kids are growing up SO fast! Dorothy’s words flittered through my mind as I was reading….”there’s no place like home….there’s no place like home.” It’s nice to get away but I love sleeping in my own bed!
