They say that love changes the way we see things – but I didn’t know you could catch it on film!
We went on a boat this week to see the sea lions in Puget Sound. The sunset over the Olympic Mountains and the sea lions were so amazing, I couldn’t pick just one picture.
All images are my own.
❤️❤️❤️ it all! The sea lions, the Valentine balloon, and the little ones hanging over the side of the boat. Thank you for sharing all of nature at its very best! 👏

The sunset is lovely. I think the sea lions are eating pretty well but expecting a handout!

I think you are right about that, Deb! The ones that were swimming followed us around as we slowly motored out. It was one of those nights that was unusually perfect for being out on the Sound in February – calm and relatively warm. It has been a nice break this week, hasn’t it?

Ha, ha, ha, Dr. Stein! I think he thinks so too. Although I’ve noticed that the good side is the one when we are upwind! 😉

You’ll have to pick a warmer month when you finally come to visit Seattle! 😀

Is there ever a non-rainy season? I’ll choose that one. Oh, and not super cold. I grew up in Ohio. Didn’t like the cold then, and where I’ve lived for the last half of my life thus far hasn’t helped condition me to like it any more now! 🙂

Well, I’m not sure we can match the warmth of California but July, August and September are consistently very lovely and non-rainy months!
