  1. What a lovely collection of summer moments! ☀️ There’s something so nostalgic about chasing the ice cream truck—it instantly brought back childhood memories. I also love the quote at the beginning. Letting kids order their own ice cream is such a simple way to help them build confidence. Wishing Cooper’s team better luck next time, and I hope the rest of your summer is filled with more sunshine, bike rides, and sweet treats! 🍦🚴‍♀️😊

    1. Well spotted, Deb. And it’s always so busy on Lake Union. Although we’re right next to where you can boat (or paddleboard) up to Ivars so I suppose that’s one reason.

  2. My condolences to Cooper for England getting knocked out of the World Cup. I was rooting for them as well. Somehow, some ice cream found its way into our grocery cart this morning for the first time this summer. I am still investigating how that could have happened, Wynne. 😁

  3. Lovely photos and funny sign. A dad joke I can share, thank you. The ice cream truck screams summer and enjoying a swim to beat the heat is always fun. Enjoy another weekend of summer.

  5. I enjoyed these buoyant, summery pics — and that sign writer is rehashing a few classic puns —- he might need a break —- but you still have to chuckle at the bravado of it all 🙂

  7. Your kids’ summer break is just giving me lots of joy – but not surprised over here. You’re all living it and enjoying the moment with great intention. I’m sorry England didn’t make the finals but they did thankfully get 3rd! Hope that somewhat makes up for the sting.

    1. Thank goodness for third!! I’m not sure why Cooper decided to stop walking…in the street. He really is a silly dog sometimes (or always 🙂 ). Thanks, my friend!
