Photos of the Week: April 18

When you see someone putting on his Big Boots, you can be pretty sure that an Adventure is going to happen.” – A. A. Milne

We went on a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco to see family this week. So, you got to stretch your legs in any way possible, right?

The sign of the week — found at a rest stop in Southern Oregon and Miss O’s best shocked face!

    1. It was interesting because it feels like the same ride every time you get in one. As opposed to a taxi or Uber that is different because the driver is different. Know what I mean? But it was less nerve-racking than I expected. An adventure for sure!

  1. What a fun trip for you and your kids. It looks like you had beautiful weather. My kids live in the East Bay and my daughter said she was stuck in a downpour. So you lucked out. I had sorority sisters at the UW whose dad owned Ghirardelli chocolates and Rice a Roni, the San Francisco treat! We had an endless supply of chocolate.

  2. That sign is so unexpected; I hope it makes everyone who sees it giggle. Bravo for being brave enough to take a driverless car.One picked us up recently to take us to the airport. I would have canceled the ride, but we were on a tight timeline. Talking about being driven to overcome a fear.

    1. I’m smiling about your “being driven to overcome a fear” line. Wowsa – no kidding!

Love that you are laughing along with us about the toilet seat. We laughed all over again when we passed that gas station on the way home!

      Have a great week, MSW!

  3. I love these rays of sunshine, Wynne. Looks like a wonderful roadtrip and time with family. That Giardelli ice cream sundae looks absolutely heavenly. Enjoy every moment together, even the ones when the cat catches your business!
