Photos of the week: November 29

No amount of regret changes the past.
No amount of anxiety changes the future.
But any amount of gratitude changes the present.” – unknown

Thanksgiving cooks. Yep, that’s a lot of chefs in the kitchen but we all got along. And for anyone wondering, yes, that’s Mr. D making his famous medium water. I’m so grateful for a houseful of family and friends I adore and love!

It was parent-teacher conference week so the kids had the week off school and got creative doing other things. I’m so grateful for downtime with kids.

Cooper breaking the Thanksgiving boundaries — but fortunately after the meal. I’m so grateful, he wasn’t a gobbler!

  1. How fun that the kids get a week of school in the fall. We only get this during the spring time. Looks like it was well spent and time for Thanksgiving bonding too. Mr D is gonna need to patent that medium water. He’s onto something!

    1. Maybe I should add “patent pending” to this post. 🙂 You’re right, it’s a great week for bonding. Not all of the school districts around here do it but it’s fun. Hope you have a great weekend, Ab!

      1. Yes, a wonderful time with the family. The grand-twins have come down from college, so it’s nice to be together.

  2. Oof! That look of concentration on Miss O’s face? Concentration…or…a look that says, “step away, you’re disrupting my creative flow, mama”. I can’t tell! 😜
    Fab photos, all! ❤️

  3. I love these pictures, especially everyone cooking and Cooper checking out what’s for dinner! Also, I got a chuckle because we have the same plate set. Great minds think alike? 😉

  4. I’m guessing that Cooper is lobbying for his own seat at the table and it looks like everyone pitched in for the big day.

Also fun to enjoy some down time with family at camp kiddo located right in your very own home, who knew?

  5. I laughed harder at that joke than it probably deserved. 🙂

There’s no such thing as too many cooks in the kitchen. The more help you get, the better! Glad you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving, Wynne.

    1. I’m laughing all over again, my friend! Yes, I’ll take all the Thanksgiving help I can get! Hope you and Tara had a lovely T-day. I’m loving all the snow falling on our blogs and am grateful that you showed me how to do that!

  6. I saw Mr. D with the saucepan, and I knew right away it was his famous medium water. I think Cooper is just checking if everyone ate their veggies. He is always so thoughtful. 😂 The sign is always funny. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, my friend.

  7. Love the snow! I went looking for this week’s photos of the week and it wasn’t up! I went back in time to find last week’s – looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Mine was awesome, too. Peach gobbler sounds delicious, but I prefer a pecan or pumpkin pie. What’s your fave? Have a wonderful week!

    1. I’m so glad you said something, Clay because it made me realize why the post wasn’t up. Gah! I like apple pie actually – but you’re right, it was a lovely Thanksgiving. Glad to hear yours was awesome!
