  1. I particularly love Mark Twain’s quote, “When in doubt, write.” It is so direct and to the point, it reminds me of the Nike slogan, “Just do it.” Here is one of my fave writer quotes: “The role of a writer is not to say what we can all say, but what we are unable to say.” ~Anaïs Nin

  3. This is perhaps one of my favorite parts of reading. Sure, I love it when the author shows us what’s happening by painting a picture, but what I especially love is how someone else’s words trigger my own memories and experiences.
