“Spring: a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be.” – unknown

It was 71 degrees in Seattle in March last weekend!

And wow, the weather really makes a difference in lemonade stand sales! 🙂

We did a lot of biking. And worm rescues. Which I guess goes with being out and about in March.

Cooper turned 9 months and also had plenty of fun this week.

The St. Paddy’s Day Skeleton and the Sign of the Week add a reminder to have a great week to come!
And speaking of doing something awesome. Check out Life with Alegria and her project to capture joyful moments!
Rumor has it that by summer’s end, Mr. D intends to buy you out of your home! Beware the downside of of a thriving lemonade stand in the hands of a small boy!

Oh man, I better start charging him for the cost of supplies! 🙂

Such a great week Wynne. I actually read your post about the lemonade stand and was going to commend you on your fabulous and thoughtful parenting. Then I was disturbed and never got back to it. A lovely week.
And thank you ever so much for the mention. So kind of you. Have a beautiful weekend with your gang. Can’t believe how Cooper has grown. 💕

Thank you, Alegria! Yes, it is so amazing how fast Cooper has grown. The body a little faster than his manners but he’s working on it.
I love your joyful moments project and all your work!

Thanks Wynne! Grateful for your appreciation. And hahaha yes, I know what you mean about these beautiful puppies. Eventually they learn.

I think the cherry blossoms are at their peak so they caught my eye too. The house in the middle is unusual architecture for my neighborhood but I thought it was a fun picture. Thanks for commenting, VJ!

I was feeling all of what VJ shared below…love the blossoms in that first pic…and the architectural details on the house in the middle…plus the cool tri-tone paint job. Caught my eye…but then, you know…Mr. D, Miss O and Cooper stole the show from there. xo to all! 🥰

Great recap and wonderful photos. I think Cooper deserves a Puppuccino.

I really loved the blossoms in the feature photo. Ours are just starting to come out of hibernation, so im enjoying those shared online.
As ever, you seem to cram so much into one week. Miss O is growing up so much and I can’t believe how big Cooper is getting

Oh, I’m glad you like our blooms as you wait for yours. Isn’t it amazing how quickly they all grow? Really, I do these pictures so I can remember as well. Thank you, Brenda!

The flowering cherries are so pretty. Our flowering plums are just beginning to bud out, none really open yet but the pink tree lined streets will be here soon. That always signals true first day of spring to me.

Yes, the sign of spring for sure. I just noticed these trees and a few others that seem to pop last week. Funny how they are in progress until BAM! Happy Saturday, Deb!

If Mr. D ever wants to mix him up, he could sell the dog treats for $2 and offer free lemonade!

And with the pet owners around here – that might be the way to go! 🙂

I tried to add a comment on your post on the weekend, but WordPress wasn’t cooperating. Let’s see if today is better. The picture of Mr D. on his bike with his Teddy backpack is so precious! And Cooper needs to stop growing!

I love that you noticed Mr. D’s Teddy backpack. That is pretty sweet, isn’t it? Cooper is about to get neutered – I wonder if that’ll change his growth curve?

I love seeing the sequel photos to Mr D’s lemonade stand story. The weather does make such a difference.
Enjoy your first (I think it’s the first) full Spring with Cooper! And I love those stand up paddle boarding photos a lot. Summer will be here before we know it.

Stand up paddle boards are so fun, aren’t they? Yes, this is our first spring with Cooper. His birthday is in June so all of this is new for him.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

I remember when I was a kid and we did lemonade (or Kool-aid) stands. Each kid on the block did them on various days, and the word would get out who was doing one so we could go buy from each other. Never mind that we had it for free at home, it was much more fun to congregate with the other kids, all on bikes, to same each other’s offerings!
