“Life is pure adventure, and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art.” – Maya Angelou
Indiana Jones-ing things up!
Wild Lights at the zoo. I wondered why Big Foot was by the Pike Place Market sign and that’s when I learned that he is reported to roam in our woods.
The car turned 100,000 miles and Miss O’s idea was to make it a car cake to celebrate it!
My favorite shot from last weekend – Mr. D riding his strider bike and the cat running along. When I zoom in, it appears the cat has at most one paw on the ground in her effort to keep up.
Our motto (together we can do anything) that we painted on the front walk this summer has almost worn off. But I think the leaf shows, the motto is still loved.
How was your week?
Great pics. Great zoo lights. Why did I never think of making a celebratory cake for our car?! 😊

Thank you, Jane! Maybe the car cake idea is something that is more likely to pop up when you are in elementary school? 🙂

LOL. And maybe something that’s more likely to pop up in the head of someone who’s not going to have to make it, at least not on her own?!

Oh, the car cake! She was so creative with it! 😀And I was just gonna ask if the light thingy was at Pike’s Place when I saw your comment. That’s really cool! Love all of these, really… I agree – the cat one is hilarious,
and the leaf is perfectly love-ly. (See what I did there?😉). Thank you for sharing, Wynne – happy Saturday to you!

Ha, ha – yes, love-ly!! I love it! The car cake did turn out awfully well – Miss O wanted to put it behind the exhaust pipe to see if the car could blow out its own candle. But then we decided that we wouldn’t want to eat it after that. 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂 ❤

What a fun week you all had! I’m not sure I’ve had a car long enough to reach that special celebratory age, but if it happens with my Subaru I’m going to borrow Miss O’s ideas.

Miss O asked if I would be alive when she got to that milestone. I clarified that she was talking about getting a car to 100k. 🙂 It’s my first time doing it too – but if you get your Subaru there, we’d be happy to help make the cake!! Happy weekend, Deb!

No car cake for me, so my week wasn’t nearly as exciting as yours. Love the zoo lights!
