We were sick this week – 4th week of the school year is when it seems to happen every year. But we still managed to get out and do some evening skating.

It’s so lovely to see your kids playing in the front yard. As a child, we children ran all over the neighborhood playing in each other’s yard. These days it’s rare to see kids out playing in their yards. So many neighborhoods look sterile, unlived in. Sad.

Hope you guys are on the mend, but if you got out for roller-skating it looks as though you are. I’m trying to decipher the photo with Mr. D and Cooper, there’s a fishing pole? and Cooper on his back showing is his underside of his head? That photo needs a bigger caption!

Back to school ick is…simply ick. Hard to avoid, hard to push through. I hope wellness returns quickly, and maybe if Cooper is gonna go all in playing Santa, he can bring you the gift of good health asap. Kudos to almonds for being the inspiration we didn’t know we needed lol!

Sending so many get-well wishes to your household! Week four is brutal time for school germs to hit. It’s so sweet that Cooper has taken on full caretaker duties – there really is no comfort quite like a loyal pup when you’re sick. Hope everyone feels better quickly!
