The exercise of looking through my photos of the week is always so fun because invariably I have forgotten some of the delightful things we’ve done: swimming, roller skating, rock climbing camp, fishing, and cute moments with the pets. But this week in review was especially rewarding because when I went to download our lunar eclipse photos, I also grabbed the Whidbey wildlife photos from earlier in the month.
We had so much fun watching the lunar eclipse. It looked a little like a Christmas ornament with a bright top. Or like these rocks on the wall at the beach.

What’s that creature swimming, almost looks like a seal? Have a good weekend Wynne! We’re scheduled to go on a min-mini road trip with my mom this morning (she’s 92) I know she appreciates getting out of the assisted living place. How far is Whidbey Island from where you live?.

It’s either a seal or a sea lion – I’m not sure. Whidbey Island is only 22 miles from where we live but it takes 2 hrs to get there because there’s a ferry involved.
Love that you are doing a road trip with your mom! You are so good at connecting with others and making them feel great!

Beautiful wildlife in Whidbey! I know a little variation of the sign of the week. It goes like that – your mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work if you don’t open it.
