“Plunge into the sublimes seas, dive deep, and swim far.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
My apologies for being missing from WordPress this week. Miss O graduated from 5th grade — and more importantly won the Seymour Kaplan award for being a kind, supportive of others, and inclusive student. Then we cleared out of the house for the AirBnB renters and flew to Hawaii. So I haven’t spent much time in front of my computer but still want to memorialize this momentous week.

Celebrating Miss O’s fifth grade graduation. The cat is impressed but just doesn’t want to show it.

Hawaii fun

The sign of the week. And we need some shady protection from the Hawaiian sun!
Huge congratulations, Miss O!! Enjoy Hawaii!!

What a week! I can almost hear the sound of the kids laughing amidst the rolling surf! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! 💝😊💝

It’s so funny, Vicki – they loved to get pounded by the surf. You’d think that would get old but not yet…. 🙂

It’s pretty magical! Big surf! Paul and Delaney still have epic Hawaiian memories of “chasing waves” on the beach. 🤪❤️🤪

Oh that’s so cool Miss O. That’s awesome Wynne. Kind, supportive of others, and inclusive … yes, yes, yes. Um, we’re going to need her give her own Ted Talk on the subject. There are some adults who could use the reminder. 🤭🤭 And oh yea, Hawaii is no joke either. Have a blast!!!!☀️☀️☀️

Wonderful! Enjoy your time in Hawaii. I’m just a little jealous. We had a trip to Hawaii booked in 2020 but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Maybe we’ll have to make a stop there on our way to Australia sometime.

That’s right – Hawaii is going to be on your way once Laura moves! So disappointing to have that cancelled but I think you have a good plan for rescheduling!
And thank you!! I’m very proud of her!

Thank you, Belinda. No, she wasn’t at the graduation – just the after party. And she does like people — mostly on her own terms! 🙂

Wow, big congrats to Miss O! To be acknowledge for one’s kindness in school is not something I’ve heard of before, but I’m so heartened to know this is a thing.
Hope you and the kids have a blast!
