“A beautiful aspect of life is the scenery that the earth provides.” – Jessica Marie Baumgartner

After finally accepting that it will not snow in the city of Seattle this winter, we drove an hour to the mountains to play in the snow.

Cooper taking time to stop and smell the flowers.

The sign of the week. Mr. D also knows how to communicate without talking.
You should have visited North East for snow! The kids barely went to school this winter I think. 😊

Looks like Mr also knows how to eat, but is a little weak on his culinary choices. Or maybe snow was just on the menu.

Ha, ha, ha!! I told him it was okay as long as it wasn’t yellow! 🙂

If Mother Nature isn’t cooperating, go find some snow. I love it! You know out of the blue now, you’ll get snow this week!!! 🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❄️❄️❄️❄️

Isn’t that how it usually happens? If it does, we’ll take credit with all our friends. 🙂

It’s handy to be able to drive to snow when wanted. I love the NW and wish I had explored more in my year in Portland.

I love Mr. D’s snow cone. I bet it didn’t melt too fast. We haven’t had snow in Portland. My daughter’s family went to Leavenworth for a white Christmas and the grandkids had fun with the snow.

Leavenworth at Christmas is so fun. I hope the problems from the flooding didn’t impact their travel!

I love that you chased winter fun with the kids! They looked like they were having so much fun. Just some flavored syrup and Mr D has a snow cone!
I have to say that your cat looks perpetually pissed off! Poor Cooper. 🤣

I’m laughing about the cat, Ab. She’s a funny one – always in charge. I assume the face comes with keeping us inline. 🙂 But you’re right, Cooper always looks a little worried when she snuggles up. Thank goodness he gets to go places with us to get a break.

Love seeing those daffodils. We’re at least a month away from those here. All this snow will have to melt first. 😂

That’s where the snow is! Hope those daffodils come soon enough.

It’s supposed to warm up and rain this week so I hope the snow piles will shrink. 🤞

If Mr. D ever gets tired of the water business, he should expand his empire to include snow cones!

When I used to live in Montreal, we used to joke that if it snowed for Christmas in the city, and then after that the snows contained themselves to snowing in the mountains only for the skiers, that we’d all be quite happy with that setup. Seattle is proving that is definitely possible! Happy Spring!
