“A beautiful aspect of life is the scenery that the earth provides.” – Jessica Marie Baumgartner

After finally accepting that it will not snow in the city of Seattle this winter, we drove an hour to the mountains to play in the snow.

Cooper taking time to stop and smell the flowers.

The sign of the week. Mr. D also knows how to communicate without talking.
You should have visited North East for snow! The kids barely went to school this winter I think. 😊

Looks like Mr also knows how to eat, but is a little weak on his culinary choices. Or maybe snow was just on the menu.

all so good, and just know if you ever need snow again. we have plenty to spare here in michigan and I would be more than happy to share some with you! I love your attitude of ‘if it doesn’t come to us, we will go to it!’ well done, all. now I need to get to a garden center to find some daffodils-

It’s handy to be able to drive to snow when wanted. I love the NW and wish I had explored more in my year in Portland.
