Photos of the Week: February 21

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.” – Dorothy Parker

The Pacific Science Center was a perfect place to engage our curiosity on President’s Day.

I had four kids with me at the Seattle Center water features. Amazingly, only 50% of them ended up wet. I’m calling that a win. 🙂

My friend Eric suggested we watch Rocky. It’s funny how much slower movies from 50 years ago feel. I also learned there are actually nine Rocky movies—I would’ve guessed four or five until Eric looked it up.

The sign of the week.

  1. What fun! My grandparents bought all the cousins an annual pass to the Arizona Science Center the year it opened and I have such fond memories. I’m sure your kids will cherish the memories, as well! And that butterfly is just stunning!!

    1. Science Centers are just so fun! Love that you and your cousin have fond memories. It was hard keeping track of four kids but I’m chalking it as worth it in service of making fond memories… 🙂

  2. Love the photo of the two kids cuddled up on the couch watching Rocky. Now that’s love – and a great movie. How are there 9 movies?!

I’m in the mood for some lean roast beef, just about now!

That is a win! Usually they end up “accidentally” falling in, at least that was true for my grandkids!

  4. Haha nice beef joke😁 Rocky is Tammy’s favorite movie series. My daughter hadn’t seen it, but it happened to be on when we were at the beach the other year. She was hooked immediately 😁
