“Love isn’t a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like struggle. To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now.” – Fred Rogers

It’s Valentine’s Day! Here are some Valentine offerings from our neighborhood. The heart is so delightful because it’s at the top of a hill so we can see it from 3 blocks away.

In other news, we had a Super Bowl Party. Cooper got sent to doggie daycare so that he wouldn’t participate in the snack eating fun. Miss O is letting him know he still belongs.

When the Seahawks won, we skipped school to go to the Seahawks parade with a million other people! It was really fun – Miss O and Mr. D got a lot of high-fives. Then one big Seahawk came by and picked Mr. D up by his shoulders and shook him. Mr. D was a little startled — and got to see how big those players are!

Signs of the week including one from the memorial garden where my dad is interred. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Lucky kids! Got to go to the parade instead of school 🙂!

1 day away from school, 1 big chunk of love from miss O for C heading off to doggy Super Bowl party camp, 1 game for a 50/50 chance for a win, a 1 in million chance for a big Seahawk to give an almost as big boy D a lift on 1 day to celebrate the giant win, I’d say that’s a lot of ABC’s and math and love and memories. best school/no school day ever!

I love how you know the true priorities in life. A day away from school is nothing for a once-in-a-while experience together with a million others. The photos and your smiles are warm and precious.
Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend over there. Everyone is still in bed over here at 9:30 and the calm is pure bliss!

Never miss the opportunity for a parade, even if they repeat. Congratulations on the win and the party. Love the Valentines vibes in the neighborhood. We ‘escaped’ to the lake for the weekend and have thoroughly enjoyed the time with each other and the dogs! I’ve been ‘signless’ but found a gem yesterday. Can’t wait to share.

I absolutely love that heart! And, while I am not a football fan, I was thrilled with the Seahawks victory! I thought of you and your family often as I kept one eye on the game while reading my book.

A victory parade is way better than math. You rock! And bonus points for giving Mr. D a ride on an actual NFL player!

Awww! Love these! Wonderful week!
WordPress has done something weird, so when I try to access sites from my phone it starts behaving quite erratically and never bringing me to where I want to go. I can only access many posts from my laptop environment.

Cooper thinks every day is a bad bunny show since there are a lot of wild bunnies in our neighborhood! 🙂

🤣 You made me laugh with that one. We have a few of those that visit our house, and Jazz, our dog, is always trying to catch them. Of course, they’re way faster and smarter than him, but it’s fun to watch.

I’m laughing, Edward. Yep, no prayer of ever catching one!
