“There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar;
I love not man the less, but Nature more.” – Lord Byron
We have been on vacation on Whidbey Island this week. It’s been a wonderful week of Ws…

Water

Waiting

Wildlife

And… Windows for the sign of the week. Hope you’ve had a great week! π

Beautiful week of vacationing, Wynne – perhaps the most important W in your post! Your kids are growing so big!

A wonderful sign, Wynne. Just that, so simple, and we repair much of the world. Thank you.

W’s didn’t get it at first, thought it was a typo… then I got it. Sometimes I’m a little slow on the uptake. You squeezed in a lot of W’s – waiting is one those that is under appreciated and often maligned. I am going to floor the sign’s advice and throw kindness around like it is confetti! I hope to add a W to my experience today! but I already have because it’s win-win with Wynne! Have a wonderful weekend!

Nice images, except they make me wish I was near clear cool water to play in!

I’m amazed at how clear the water is — and you’re right, Brad, it’s cold too! Thank you!

That doesn’t sound so appealing when put that way, Brad! What part of the country are you in?

Is that deer looking for a tennis partner?π Looks like another fun week!

Ha, ha – too funny. Doesn’t look too wild next to a tennis court, does it?
When we were playing pickleball on that court yesterday, I got hot. I found the one corner of the court that had some shade and noticed that right outside the fence was what looked like a deer’s shady resting spot. They know where to find the cool stuff! π

I’d be even more impressed if you ate watermelon, saw a whale, and played whiffle ball.
