“You’ll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. Airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. You will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else, a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things.” – Jamie Tworkowski

Pictures from our trip to San Francisco. Riding a surrey down the beach to the Golden Gate bridge and Miss O trying oysters. I’m not sure which one was more brave – because that surrey was hard to pedal!

Big and small animals looking cute.

Water balloon baseball in the back yard. Please forgive the alignment of the second picture – the pitcher/photographer was in the splash zone…

Fortunately the sign of the week reminds me there’s a solution. 🙂

I enjoyed the photos, Wynne. All look lovely and cute, especially your children. And the cat is just adorable!

A lovely week Wynne. Looks like a whole lotta fun!!! The good thing about being in the splash zone is, there are always towels. 🤣

Some of my favorite memories came from a long trip down the Pacific Coast Highway with my daughters. If time travel were possible, we would have visited you, Mr. D, and Miss O, Wynne.

Aww ducklings! For the second year in a row, we have no ducklings on our local pond. I don’t know what’s going on.
And this week’s sign is a groaner! 😀

Interesting about the ducks. Hmm…
Glad I made you groan — and maybe smile a bit. 🙂

Smiles and joy. I am sure you and your family returned from your trip leaving a little bit of your heart behind. I was there for three baseball games last June and had a delightful time walking and enjoying the time with good friend when I lived in the Bay Area from 87-90! The sign made me laugh! Can’t wait for next week.

I didn’t know you lived in SF, Clay. Were you at a baseball game when the 1989 earthquake hit? Wow!

Yes, ma’am. My wife was my girlfriend then and she worked in the city, I worked in the East Bay. She had gotten tickets for the game. I just gotten off BART and she was there to pick me up and take us to the game when the quake struck. We lived in the East Bay and it took us over five hours to get home that night.
