“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” – Albert Einstein

We spent Memorial Day weekend playing tourist in our own area. First at Snoqualmie Falls.

Then at the Boeing Museum of Flight. They had so many great exhibits but I thought the Apollo mission ones were really cool. We came home and watched the Apollo 13: Survival documentary on Netflix. So gripping!

Mr. D has been planting his apple seeds in the yard and is diligent about watering them. He’s demonstrating the creation part of the consume lifecycle!
That is so cute. All the best for gardening. It is exciting.

How interesting, I’ve just read another blogger’s post about reframing our thoughts. Perhaps it’s a message for me? 🙂
What a fun Memorial Day weekend you all had Wynne. Where’s Cooper? 😍
I love this too ….
HUMANS WERE DESIGNED TO CREATE THAT IS WHY YOU GET DEPRESSED WHEN ALL YOU DO IS CONSUME

Isn’t that interesting about that theme synchronicity? Reframing is so powerful.
I love that you ask about Cooper. Our car broke down so we had a rental car and he wasn’t able to join us on some of our adventures. 🙂

Another fun week in the books. What a thought provoking quote! Are your kiddos out of school for summer break yet? I have two and a half days left before my summer begins. But first I have to make today count. Stay well and keep inspiring.

a great week where you took in what is right around you. how often we take that all for granted and fill to see what is right before our eyes. wonderful about the apple seeds, so much to learn from that act.

Love the waterfalls. Definitely one of my favourite things about the part of the world you live in.
And that sign! I’ve been thinking about it ever since you read it to me the other day!
Have a terrific weekend, Wynne!

Um…I have thoughts about every one of these pics. Wowza! But…can I ask a question? Mr. D has biceps? Can you send him over to help me out on ‘arm day’ which I like to avoid? 🤣

Ha, ha, ha — good one, Vicki! And what gets me is that they get them without “arm day”!! He’d be happy to help out though!!

I was so focused on his expression that I didn’t notice the biceps before. Right – Isn’t it amazing how strong they get just doing their activities?

His expression shows how much effort he’s putting in, and his biceps are showing the result of that effort!

great pictures! Especially the ones from the Flight museum. Wowza….$5.09? That’s $2 more than here, and I think that’s high.

Thanks, Doug! That gas station is expensive – I never buy there but most of our gas is in the $4 range. We pay a lot of gas taxes.

What a great way to spend the holiday weekend! One of these days, I need to visit Snoqualamie Falls. Great shots of the kids at Boeing – my guys are currently on a road-trip through CA to AZ visiting several aviation museums. It’s fun to explore with kids. Best of luck to Mr. D’s apple tree!

Aviation museums are fun! That’s awesome your guys are road tripping to see some. Snoqualmie Falls is always scenic, isn’t it? We hiked down to the bottom which I remembered as a quarter mile breeze. My kids didn’t see it as that way at the time because it was hot but we had a great time!

I love all things space. The Apollo 13 mission is so gripping. The fact that they brought the capsule back home is one of the most miraculous events ever! All of which is to say, I’d love visiting the museum.
Please tell me they aren’t actually charing $5.09/gallon out there!

Cmon out and visit us! It is miraculous that they got that capsule back home!
Ah yes – the price of gas is high here. But I never pay for it at that gas station because it’s like $4.30 elsewhere.
