“Life becomes easier and more beautiful when we can see the good in other people.” – Roy T. Bennett

Projects are our family love language. Based on all the help I’ve gotten, we must love each other a lot!

Passenger dog and the first ripe strawberry

The sign of the week. Cooper thinks it applies to funny ducks as well.
That strawberry looks delicious. I hope it was enjoyed 😉

Oh how this post brings me joy. I am thankful I have come across you and your blog. I can remember many a time when my household looked like yours. Working as a family is a good thing. I love the feature photo and I dream of mountains but I live on the flat plains of the midwest. Yesterday, we had a dust storm and this morning I found evidence of it on the porch. This afternoon, I will be working in the yard and doing my own creative yard work. Enjoy the weekend and I look forward to next week’s photos of the week. Peace.

What a heartwarming comment, Clay! Love knowing you are digging in your yard as we are digging in ours. It’s a good phase to be in — but with your graduation celebrations, you get to see the fruits of your labor. Incredible all around!

Working together, especially outdoors in the garden is such a great thing for the kids. Seeing that strawberry must have been exciting. And of course, Cooper, always a delight. Lovely week. Enjoy your weekend Wynne.

Seeing the good in other people, especially when not everything to see is good, is a noble quality. I often find those type of characters in novels to be the most relatable because none of us are perfect.

I love this comment, Pete! I think it’s a noble quality, too. It reminds me of a quote from Nelson Mandela, “It never hurts to see the good in someone. They often act better because of it.” Isn’t that true?
And I love how you see the good in people!

how was the strawberry? Once we also planted some on our balcony but they tasted awful 😞 hope yours are good!

That’s funny, Cristiana! They tasted good. The first one was a little tart because we picked it early but we were more patient with the second. 🙂

I always enjoy your pictures, Wynne! They make me want to be more active and get out more.😁

I love that they have that effect. One side benefit of being 55 with a 9 yr old and a 5 yr old is that they keep me active! Have a great week! ❤

Whew! I don’t know how you do it. However, God knew when you would be best prepared for them, and you are a wonderful mother. I just love how He works.☺️💕

Oh, how I miss really good strawberries! The best I ever had were grown in my own backyard in Vancouver, WA.

Family working together, awesome! Well, Cooper is just chillin’. A skateboard to move the pavers instead of carrying them one by one, why didn’t I think of that before? 🤦🏻♂️ Great photos as always, Wynne.
