“Experience is one thing you can’t get for nothing.” – Oscar Wilde

We hurried outside because one of our neighbors had an accident (he’s okay). We only had one coat between the three of us so Miss O figured out how to make the best of it.
Which leads to the second photo. Where else would you store your pizza wheel?

My men of mystery — hiding behind rainbows and foliage.

The sign of the week poses a good question. Clearly it’s not age 55 because I have no idea what was going on when someone put a chair with a net on top of a gymnastics mat. And that’s just one of the many things that remain a mystery to me.
Mystery is a wonderful thing. Rather than believing the first answer we hear or that comes to mind, it begs us to reflect and question our own answers. Trust me, Wynne — keep doing it forever!

Oh, I love how you’ve taken this deeper, Dr. Stein!

I believe you never know what’s really going on… so maybe an unanswerable question? Like how many angels can dance on the head of a pin!

Ah, I love it, Ally! It’s our expectation that we will that’s wrong! 🙂

I’m still wondering how old you have to be before you know what’s going on?? All cute photos as long as Mr D doesn’t hurt himself with that pizza wheel! (Typical grandmother reaction, I know)

Mr. D was very careful with the pizza wheel. 🙂 Love your care and concern, Darlene!

Ha ha. I think Cooper is easily spotted but that pizza cutter is well camouflaged! And happy to see Mount Ranier is “out” in the banner photo. Have a wonderful weekend, Wynne.

How old do you have to be, indeed? At one point I was confident enough to say 30, but now I know it’s not 65.

I remember thinking 30 would be about the right age too. Maybe it’s never and we just get to live with curiosity and wonder! 🙂

Mmmm… Perhaps many of the best questions don’t have easy or obvious answers, Wynne.

LOL. I sure don’t know what’s going on, and I have a solid generation on you! 🤷🏼♀️😂

Well if you don’t know, I think the answer to what’s going on must be unknowable!! 🙂 ❤

I love your weekly photos and please let me know what that age of knowing is, so I can mark it on my calendar. 🤩

Ha, ha, ha — good on, Michele! Jane’s 80 and says she doesn’t know so we might have to chalk this up as the ultimate mystery!

I can live with that! 😄

I must say that it’s unclear to me as well why someone would put a chair with a net on top of a gymnastics mat. I thought it over, but can’t find a reason why. Maybe you could ask them 😀

Oh, what an idea, Cristiana! Ask?? 🙂

glad your neighbor is okay, smart to double up on the coat, and that looks like a pizza wheel pocket if I ever saw one! how old do you have to be? not sure, I’m in my 60s and still working on it!

Maybe that question is the ultimate mystery of life?! 🙂

Oh my goodness. Love all of this, per usual, but this week Cooper’s traveling. He’s made an appearance in my latest blog post. He’s such a superstar…despite his shy demeanor. xo! 😁🥰😁

Ha ha, ha – I’m just hoping we can get Cooper to come out of his shy shell… 🙂

The mystery(ies) of life are perhaps the spice of life. 🤔 I don’t know what’s going on either Wynne! Except to say Cooper is gorgeous and the children aren’t bad either! 😜

The sign is a trick question! 😆 Still trying to figure out what’s going on and unsure of whether I ever will.
I love the photos from your week, especially of Cooper from the shrub. So cute. And I hope your neighbour is ok!
Enjoy the two short school weeks ahead with the kids!

Ah, you nailed it. It is a trick question! And we have spring break this week so no school! Wuhoo!! Hope you all have a great week.

Considering there’s both a U and a YOU in the same sentence, I think the people who put up that sign don’t know what’s going on either.

Funny – I never noticed that! I think you are probably right! 🙂

I mentioned to Vicki that I like the photo with Rambo—aka Cooper. Very nice camouflage! I’m with you on the age thing, and it’s only getting worse. I just learned from my son that “go touch grass” means to get outside and disconnect from the digital world. Funny, because there are only two people in this house who need to “go touch grass,” and I’m not one of them. Well, if I were five or six, I’d probably be climbing that chair to grab something from the tree—but clearly, that’s not what Mr. D is trying to do. 😆

Oh, I’m laughing at this comment, Edward! I didn’t know about go touch grass either. But I love, “Funny, because there are only two people in this house who need to “go touch grass,” and I’m not one of them.” Right!
Ah, maybe someday we’ll figure it out…and in the meantime, we’ll have fun trying. 🙂
