Oohh, summer is almost here when we can go out on a boat without hats, gloves and scarves. Except Cooper that is…because of course, he never wears hats, gloves, scarves – just eats them. 🙂

Or be by the lake fishing in shorts.

“Mama, what’s a chain reaction?”
That’s when you ask me a question like that, I spend a half hour finding our big dominoes, and then we while away the afternoon, setting them up, knocking them down (sometimes even intentionally), and laughing.

    2. Whew! I’m thrilled to hear that Cooper doesn’t fall into the car-chasing category of doggydom. I’ll sleep much easier tonight knowing that he’s safe from all that low-slung exhaust. LOL

  3. Seattle is so beautiful from the water. I didn’t get a chance to do a lot of sightseeing when I was there last summer, but we did get out for a harbour cruise on the day we arrived.

    And I love those big dominos! Have a great weekend, Wynne.

      2. A perfect way to spend a PNW summer! It reminds me of the book The Curve of Time by M. Wylie Blanchet. She was a widowed mother who sailed with her 5 kids up to Desolation Sound every summer for years.
