“There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” – Nelson Mandela

It got warm enough to add water to the crocodile cave. It seems to me to be more of a seal slide now. But lots of laughs, no matter what you call it.

That’s why Mother’s Day is this time of year. There are a lot of mothers out by the lake!

Climbing up and fishing down. You thought I was going to say, falling down, didn’t you? Thank goodness, no!

Neighborhood bunnies. No, these guys don’t have anything to do with the Buttercup story.

Cooper and the teabag of the week. And just to be clear, he’s not smiling because he ate the teabag. But he would, I’m sure!
Miss O looks like a giant. Is she expected to be tall?

Yes, I think she’s 90% percentile.

What a brilliant quote! It aligns well with my Sunday Spark post for tomorrow. And I love the ducklings. I keep expecting some to appear on our local pond. Any day now, I hope!

Huh- that’s true. If I remember correctly, Papa duck was nearby too when I took the picture.

Yes, she is getting tall. I’m sure you can relate to those spurts when they just shoot up! 🙂

Yes, the day when suddenly no socks fit! Foot growth spurt to anticipate further tallness. 🙂

A perfect week, with plenty of fun and learning. I think Cooper is smiling because he read the teabag quote. 😆

Love the waterslide! One of my favorite pics of my son was similar (sliding down a neighbor’s). A belated happy Mother’s Day – looks like a great week. And I’m a big fan of what I call teabag wisdom. Such truth!

Summer is in full swing in your household. That crocodile slide is a delight. And I do love seeing the mother ducks and their ducklings this time of year. And I’m glad the bunnies seem to be faring better than poor Buttercup!

Well, it’s Seattle in May so the pendulum swung back to Spring weather. But we’re ready for summer when it wants to stick! Hope you had a lovely weekend, Ab!
