Photos of the Week: March 9

“In life, it’s not where you go, it’s who you travel with.” – Charles Schulz

We spent some time hanging around this week.

Hitting and catching things.

Before we headed out for an adventure.

Saw some cool things out the window (the first is the view from our hotel in New Orleans). The second is Mt. Rainier with Mt. Tahoma off to the left.

And saw some other beautiful flying things – from the Butterfly exhibit at the New Orleans Insectarium.

Which all adds up to the hug and sign of the week!

  1. Flying is the alternative form of getting up in the air if a tall building or a mountain aren’t handy. Looks like a wonderful trip!

      1. Thanks Wynne. Spring Break this week for us and we’re back in Mexico. It’s been a nice and long-awaited getaway after the challenging last while. 🙏

      1. My daughter and I accompanied my husband to NO when he had business there. We loved the beignets and the coffee au lait. Your kids will love them because they put a pile of powdered sugar on them. We also went to the New Orleans School of Cooking and learned how to make pralines and gumbo.

      2. Oh, that sounds like fun. I’m also on a work trip so we’re doing a little of everything and have spent a ton of time in the pool. Something else I bet you would appreciate!

    1. What a lovely comment. Thank you, Susan! I wrote a post complaining about March and then I swear the very next day the blossoms appeared. I’m lucky to have these great kids! Have a great week to come!
