“The only source of knowledge is experience.” – Albert Einstein

One morning this week, we decided to be a little late to school and work so that we could spent quality time together at Starbucks. Seattlites at Starbucks – seem too cliche? Regardless, we made good use of our time as Miss O’s sign conveys!

Cooper spent some time learning to blend in. He’s behind that gaggle of kids outside the school (no wonder he loves going to school pick up for all the attention he gets). And in the next photo, he was hanging out with some older retrievers. I’m not even entirely certain which one he is.

Mr. D on a mission: spraying, building, and doing push-ups

License plate art at the licensing office. Isn’t that the coolest map? And the sign of the week.
I’m really impressed that there was any kind of art at the licensing office. Most I’ve been in just have chairs , bare walls, and the ominous digital display on the wall displaying how many people are ahead of me…

Such a good point. I’d never been to this place before and it had a lot of personality — and license plate art. 🙂

Love Miss O’s sign. 💗 And how did Cooper get to be full grown already?

I totally agree, Michelle. Cooper got big fast! Happy weekend!

When is Mr. D going to get a real job — one that pays the rent?

Seems he’s working hard to get the qualifications fast… 🙂

What a fun Mom you are! Gotta experience life outside of classrooms. Like the artwork.

I love your Saturday posts Wynne. I definitely look forward to them. The beautiful smiles (and, well, Cooper’s fun exploits) always bring out a smile. And Mrs. O has it right: love does rule. Thank you for sharing!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Will you think less of me if I focus on mmmm….banana bread? LOL! And I’m with Dr. Stein. Mr. D is quite productive. Send him over! 😜

Funny thing about the banana bread – no one ate it. I brought it home and some kids from another family scarfed it down.

After a couple of decades of doing pushups in the Army, I can tell you Mr. D’s form is excellent. 👍

Good for you to spend time at Starbucks with your kids. I used to take Angus, our yellow lab, to school for morning assembly that was held outside. He loved the attention, too.

Oh, Angus goes to school! I bet that was good for a couple of stories – or ten! 🙂 ❤

He was such a good boy. Trained by Guide Dogs, but we got a principal more focused with allergies of kids or how a dog “might” act. Probably in her best interest.

Love indeed rules, Ms O! 💕 It’s nice you allowed all of you to take that short break before segueing into your day. You didn’t miss much, no doubt, at school nor work, but gained something more valuable through that time together.

Gained something more valuable through the time together – that is so well said, Ab!

“Seattlites at Starbucks”…lol, Wynne. We’re actually getting one built within walking distance of our home right now. This could get interesting. I’ve been mostly a Dunkin’ guy since there are two of them nearby as well. Coffee Wars commence!☕

Whoa – that sounds like a fun coffee war to participate in, Bruce. I think you win either way! 🙂
