“Spend unbroken chunks of time with the most important people in your life.” – Brian Tracy

The kids are accusing me of only taking pictures of Cooper. Which is unfair because I let them be in pictures with Cooper. π

Squeezing in the last bits of summer – going out for ice cream and even spending some time down on the Seattle Waterfront.

The heart of the week is a water dot on Cooper’s forehead. A bit of a stretch, I know. So I’m making up for it with a cool Shakespeare sign of the week.
I love watching your family grow! The young’uns are getting so big, and the puppyβwell, what can you says about a puppyβ¦..? π₯°

Yes, the growth of the puppy just astonishes me! I know my kids are growing – but Cooper grows so fast!! Thanks for coming along for the ride. Love you, Julia! β€

Boy, the kids are growing up! Pretty soon strangers will ask whether you and your daughter are sisters, Wynne.

What a kind statement. At this rate of aging for all of us, I doubt that’ll ever happen…but thank you! π

Cooper on the ground, presumably on a walk, while O stands there practicing patience; great pic!π I also love how you allow the kids to be in the Cooper pics π
It reminds me of the ways Iβve lost status over the years with my family- first, my parents thought I was a big deal, then forgot me when when we had their grandkids. Then my own kids thought I was important until they grew up and got dogs! ππ

Me, too – me, too! Miss O ‘practicing patience’ while Coop gets a little shuteye. I love it. Actually I love every pic. This was at least a month’s worth of smiles in one weekly roundup. π₯°π₯°π₯°

I’m laughing, Todd! That’s not losing status – that’s being secure enough not to need to be front and center. π
And I hadn’t appreciated O’s patience enough until your comment. You’re right – walking with the dog we get to practice exercise a lot of things. π Happy Saturday!!

what a cutie your new pup is. Love the one of the pup lying on the sidewalk and Miss O’s expression.

It’s fun, isn’t it, VJ? And a little satisfactory pay back for many walks we’ve taken when she was learning to walk and picking up every rock and stick along the way… π π π

You’re letting them BE in the pictures with Cooper. Haha! That cracks me up. Love the ending with the “bit of a stretch so here’s a cool sign.” Ah, good times. π

Absolutely part of the best. Of course, when your kids are a bit older, that’s part of the best times too. And when they’re older than that–also the best. π

Such beautiful photos of your kids and Cooper. Soak up every last bit of that summer – weβre doing the same over here in the woods! And my goodness, that is one massive stuffed bear! π

I hope you don’t encounter a bear that size in the woods, Ab!! Have a great time soaking it all up!! β€ β€ β€

You are becoming a ‘pup-arazzi’ and Mr. Cooper seems to love every minute! Great capture of the human expressions too!

Aw Cooper is adorable! My mother always told me and my sister that Lucky, our family dog, was her favorite child. We were not offended as he was everyone’s favorite member of the family. .
