“Like wildflowers, you must allow yourself to grow in all the places people never thought you would. ” – unknown

Is it hard to find a three-leaf clover in a pile of soda? Not after you’ve seen the Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day offerings.

SPRING TRAINING: includes a water balloon fight but with warm water balloons and hot chocolate after.

Dr Stein said of last week’s photos that I should wrap Miss O in bubble wrap. The closest I could get was to wrap them up in bubbles. Of course, sometimes I also want to keep them in bubbles but I’ll settle for trying to make this time when these little things delight them last as long as possible.

Heart of the week (toothpaste in the sink) and sign of the week.
Your beauties are alive to life with or without bubble wrap, Wynne.

I’m with Todd…about the gas station quote. Wowza! Thanks for all the fun pics, Wynne. Love the water balloon silly stuff…it DOES look like Spring — green stuff and growing things. We’re hoping for some of that…but not yet. xo! 😘

Agreed. That sign is great! What a (good) punch in the gut every time you go by it.

Yes, it’s hard to ignore that sign! And as you say, that’s a good thing!

And I love the green grass! We just had another 6” of snow on top of what was still there!

Love the wonderful Spring training photos and that gas station sign always has the best inspiration quotes. And nice to see your local grocer pop can display again!

You’re right about that gas station. I never get gas there but I do intentionally go by to see what they have to say. 🙂 Happy weekend, Ab!

I love looking at your Saturday posts in two ways. One simply as the slide show; it tells a story all on its own. Then opening the post to see the full photos with your comments. Always a treat! Thank you. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s jokes. 😉

How funny to see it both ways – I never thought of that experience so I’m so grateful you shared it! ❤ ❤ ❤

It’s easy to snap great photos when the subjects are so delightful! I appreciate the creative efforts of the team at the grocery store, the wildflower quote and photo, Mr. D’s investigation into the workings of the mower, and the lightheartedness of children at play—it all makes me want to get up out of the Lazygirl and go wander around amongst the daisies.

You are so right – my little subjects make it easy. As does digital photography where I can take several different options!
Hope your delightful dance through the daisies is fun, Julia!! 🙂

Those gas station signs are becoming iconic. Love this one, but not the whopping price :0 So many signs of spring in this weeks pictures. Do we get some cherry blossoms next week maybe??? Our street trees popped overnight earlier this week.

Yes, that price is awful. I’ve heard all the prices in King county are higher than those counties around for everything. Fortunately there are places like Costco to get better gas prices.
I thought I saw on the news that UW already has some cherry blossoms? Not sure about that but it’s soon for sure. Yay!

All about the simple fun. Water balloon fights are so much fun. We used to use coloured water 😆. Love the sign. And love how you find hearts everywhere. I do too. Lovely week. Enjoy your weekend. 💕

I love that you find hearts everywhere too, Alegria. Colored water for water balloons?? That is awesome!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!<3

Thanks for your smile pics Wynne. If we could freeze-frame childhood the chaos of adulthood would vanish.

Love your point about freeze-framing childhood solving the chaos of adulthood. I think that’s true – at least for the happy childhoods! ❤

Sounds like it was a fun week – smart idea to fill the balloons with warm water. That perfect toothpaste heart must be a sign of more good things to come 🙂
