Photos of the Week: Oct 15

The chief enemy of creativity is good sense.” – Pablo Picasso

See quote above… 🙂

Go Mariners!

Another week of incredible weather!

Miss O wanted to ride bikes to school. I made a deal with Mr. D that we could throw rocks into the lake if he rode on the back of my bike. A win for everyone!

Everything is a toy!

Did you crawl out of any bushes, have tons of fun riding escalators or have some not-good sense creativity this week?

  1. Love the pics Wynne.
Adults would do well to throw some rocks. (not at each other), take a bike ride, crawl outta’ some bushes, goof off on an escalator and have some “not-good sense creativity”everyday.
    Growing up is overrated! 🙂

  2. Please tell me that’s not your backyard with the SWA plane flying over? Using the word extreme might fit that photo. No crawling out of bushes down here, mostly just dodging spider webs on my walks.

    1. No, not my backyard. It was a playground in Georgetown and the planes coming in for a landing were intense. Hence the photo. Extreme is another good word for it.

Yes, lots of spider webs!! Hope you have a lovely weekend. 80 degrees today?? Weird!

  3. Eeks. The one with Mr. D nearly hanging in thin air on that green thingamajiggie in the kitchen had me a little worried there for a minute, but so glad he survived to climb out of the bushes!

    1. Sorry to put your heart in your throat. He seems to be pretty well-balanced and isn’t too much of a dare devil so hopefully we’ll keep it safe! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Julia!

    1. Thank you, Gill! I didn’t notice the pumpkin on the display at first – my daughter pointed it out to me and then it was so obvious. Fun to expand my view! Hope you have a lovely weekend – thanks for commenting!

  4. That Piccaso quote is fantastic!

The last week was a bare-bones, just-get-by kind of week for me. Perhaps this post is, for me, a nudge to make sure I set aside some time for play this coming week? Sure feels that way … !
