“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” – Dr. Seuss

We went to a playground we don’t visit very often – with double-sided swings (featured photo), trampolines and spinning circular things. But my favorite was a picture I captured of Miss O on a swing that delighted me because of its similarity to one when she was 3. A little bit older now but still the same exuberant spirit!

It wasn’t as hot in the Pacific Northwest as the rest of the country but we still a lot of time hanging around water.

Mr. D loves to clean with his grandmother. Such a productive pair!

Apparently we weren’t the only ones looking for water. I snapped a picture of this raccoon early in the morning checking out all the likely water sources.

Walking home from the wading pool the other night we passed one of my favorite yards decorated with rock cairns. That’s how our week stacked up. How was yours?
Thanks for sharing a basic summary and wonderful photos of your week, Wynne. It’s always nice to know that you and your family are doing well.
Another wonderful week for me, too. The level of gratitude I’m feeling toward life, itself, is deepening; and more articles are coming–ones that sometimes surprise me. I’ll be posting “Curses Begone,” as my next one. Thanks again for sharing.

Such wonderful memories, Wynne. The one with your son and mom working together outdoors is just precious. This is what makes life worthwhile. And that trampoline in the park is genius.
Enjoy your weekend!!!

A raccoon in your garden? It is so nice. Last year my sister made a video of a fox walking quietly in her garden, but she lives in the country side. Do you live in the countryside as well?

Oh, that sounds like a beautiful video. I don’t live in the country – we are in the city but there are raccoons that live in the city with us!

Oh yes, it was lovely! And it is also lovely having raccoons living with you in the city!

Thank you for sharing a part of your world and adventures!!… memories to store in the heart for when one gets too old to dream… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,

Right – it’s going to be in the 90’s for a few days so that’s big for us. Every year I think about whether or not I should get AC but it’s not that many days. Hmmm, water it is! 🙂

When my kids were little I’d sometimes stop them at a special moments and say, “Let’s take a photo with our minds so this will always be with us.”

You are so right, Mary. I expect that it’s even more fun because we don’t go there all the time so it retains its novelty!
