Photo Year in Review: My Top Twenty

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” – Robert Brault

This post started out as my ten favorites but I found I couldn’t pare it down that low. Even then I’ve cheated because with the featured pic, it’s 21… 🙂

These pictures are chronological. In the beginning of the year, I commented that we never made it full-circle on our favorite hiking trail. By September, we did it – without me carrying anyone!

While I can still pick up my kids together, the days are numbered.

A license plate, a horseshoe and a boot. It’s like the set-up for a great joke- or the most creative birdhouse ever!

Worms (not the first or the last time)

And wishes.

Sliding

Paddling

And blogging friends (the amazing Libby Saylor in NYC)!

Wagons with fake dogs

And the introduction of our puppy, Cooper!

Grandmas and binoculars – because they both add perspective

Training…and patience

My favorite sign of the year. (Which also helps with training and patience)

From youngest to oldest…

And the day the dog ate Miss O’s homework.

Coincidentally finding a Spider-man on the dock when wearing a Spider-man sweatshirt.

The moment the cat decided to be friends.

Getting ice cream.

And Vicki’s great suggestion that I should solicit caption ideas…

(All pictures are my own).

Photos of the Week: May 28

A nice weekend day and it seemed everyone in Seattle dragged their sun-starved body out to enjoy!

Car wash fun. I think they washed the car several times over!

It looks like Mt. Rainier is the pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. I can believe that!

The bear-y coziest place to read.

I wonder who will get the fish first – the fishing pole or the fishing bird?

How was your week?
