There are some people, like my brother, that allow us to step up and be brave because of their steady and affirming presence. From the moment I considered becoming a single mom, he has been there for Miss O as well. Happy Fathers Day to Uncle Jay and all the fathers who love and support us every day!!

Miss O has answered that age old question — what do you do when life hands you lemonade? Run outside and shut the door so you can enjoy it!

Deirdre shows Miss O what great friends do for us again and again — show up when we are in our small spaces, get themselves down on our level, and whisper things that make us smile!
