“The Eskimos had fifty-two names for snow because it was important to them: there ought to be as many for love.” – Margaret Atwood
I prepared this week’s photos with a Spring theme in honor of Spring forward.

Flowers and blossoms

Baseball season and flowers, the Lego version

And then this happened on Friday in Seattle. It didn’t stick to the streets and school wasn’t canceled, prompting ten-year-old Miss O to quip that when you pray to God for snow, you need to be specific.

When the cat got a few flakes on her, Mr. D said she was a sno-cat. Which I thought was punny enough to go with the sign of the week.
Wonderful photos, Wynne. You can’t help but laugh at punny…

Not PCA’s position, but a faster way to get to the Majors. Good luck, Mr. D!

So pretty with the dusting of snow! Ironically I got a notification yesterday about the growing levels of snow in Tacoma and the need to stay off the streets!! Apparently I never cancelled my Pierce Cty notifications when I moved. It gave me a good laugh since it was 70 here 🙂

“…when you pray to God for snow, you need to be specific.” Ten years old and so wise. I struggle with this one too. Geesh all knowing one! Can’t you just read my mind!!! Ha ha!

Snow in Seattle, hail in Brussels. But here we say that March is a crazy month. Being specifics, I love that, well said Ms. O!
