“Water your dreams with fear, and they will wilt;
with doubt, and they will wither;
with hope, and they will grow;
with faith, and they will flourish” – Matshona Dhliwayo

It seems there is a strong Seahawks color trend in the neighborhood. Even the skeleton has gotten into the theme.

Seems this city is pretty excited for Super Bowl LX!!

Our first little flowers popping up and sidewalk hearts.

Mr. D and I were down at Seattle Center waiting for Miss O to finish a dance class. This scooter picture is taken just moments before I asked him to do a trick. The water of the fountain varies in intensity (and reach) as it performs its own show. Unfortunately, our timing was off, the fountain went full force, and it totally drenched him. But it was a great trick!
So I thought the sign of the week was perfect for our little mishap. 🙂
By request, I’ve added the scooter trick… 🙂
love the team colors and the found heart and with mr. d doing his trick j just as the fountain went full out, it could have been part of the half-time show!

Half-time show. You are genius, Beth! I added a clip of the video to the post because it was cool. 🙂

And Mom cheered because this week Mr. D decided to wear a jacket instead of go out in a t-shirt. Ha, ha, am I right? Ha, ha.

Sometimes I miss living in Washington state where we had flowers in our yard all year around. It’s a different story here on the Canadian prairie where it’ll won’t be warm enough for anything to grow outside for months! Thankful for grocery store tulips on the dining room table.

Well, better luck next time. Given that he is the child of a mountain climber, he will succeed and relish the many more tricks ahead of him. Thanks, Wynne.

We were back there again yesterday watching all the people play near and try not to get wet. It’s a fun one, isn’t it? Glad you have fond memories of it too! Go Seahawks!

We would spend hours there in the summer. Also, we had Science Center memberships, so we’d make a day out of it. Yes, Go Seahawks!

This reminds me of the time Tara and I were downtown with my daughter, Audrey, who was 15 or so at the time. We were wandering around the Portland waterfront one warm summer evening after dark, and we told her we’d give her $5 if she stood in the fountain. She did, soaking through her clothes in the process, but five bucks richer for the sacrifice!
I’m guessing Mr. D didn’t get paid, though.
