Photos of the Week: January 17

Human progress is neither automatic or inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.” – Martin Luther King

I have been under the weather this week. My apologies for being slow to check in with all you wonderful friends. I couldn’t understand why I kept falling asleep with my laptop every night until the head cold appeared and it all made sense!

Fortunately the kids, animals and weather were all clear this week even if I wasn’t! 🙂

Nothing like a spot of red to brighten up the day!

In formation…Cooper and Simone might not have the numbers of the flock of geese but still are quite impressive when they are in sync.

The sign of the week and a found heart.

  1. Wow, your little heart find on the ground was great – and I almost posted a heart photo last week (in my door post) and it was of a heart shaped oil spot on the black top. Anyhow, the photo did not make it into my doors post – but I lit up to see your heart find photo! Also, love the formation – the pets and birds. And glad you are feeling better as the week winded down.
