I’m so grateful we were able to spend a weekend at our favorite beach on Whidbey Island.

  3. love the mix of photos, the two waterbirds (not sure what that one on the left is with the camo legs is, must be native to washington state), the happy daughter with the giant marshmallow, and of course the canine train stationmaster, making sure the trains run on time. – wonderful

    1. I’m howling about the camo legged bird! Good one, Beth! And the giant marshmallow – we bought a bag of them. It’s a whole other level of roasting to try to get it soft all the way to the center. 🙂 Love this comment!

  10. LOL! Love Dr. Stein’s quip below, Wynne! I’m with him…Cooper…what an appetite. I know from other things he’s found while “counter surfing” that there are better yummies elsewhere. Maybe Cooper really is maturing! 😜💝😜

  12. Cooper has both knowledge and wisdom now that he’s figured out that trains aren’t edible, and all the little pieces get stuck in his mouth! 😂

  24. Kudos to Cooper for understanding the importance of the trains always staying on schedule. I have a sudden craving for s’mores now, and I understand the importance of being on time for that treat as well, Wynne!

      1. Thank you, my friend. I have mixed feelings about the series. I like vampire stories, and this series was really good. The only thing I didn’t like too much is how they portray Bella and the things she did to get Edward’s attention. I’m not sure if you saw the movies or read the books, but this is one of those series that requires a conversation with the teen to ensure they know the right way to handle challenging emotions.
