“When God made the color purple, God was just showing off.” – Mae Jemison

This week’s photo collection is mostly about colors. Lilac, fuschia…and the blue of the featured photo.

Then there’s Rusty our Crested gecko who is rust-colored, of course. And Cooper turned green from rolling around in fresh mowed grass.

To top it off, we have Miss O and Mr. D serving up green stuff.

And the sign of the week celebrating dogs — no matter what color they are!
Lovely smiling children plus the adorable Cooper – scrumptious in any colour whatever the day π₯°

Oh those lilacs! Just back from BC where the lilacs and other spring blossoms were spectacularβthe best Iβve ever seen. Weβre still a few weeks away from seeing those in our area.

That quote about the color purple is absolutely true! What is the beach/lake shore that you seem to go to often? Beautiful lead photo- those blues! π€©

We go to Mutiny Bay on Whidbey Island. It’s my version of your Rehoboth Beach. It restores me! Thanks, Todd!

I was thinking that exact thing β that must be Wynneβs version of Rehoboth Beachπ

I love the feature photo. There is something about mountains for me… and the sign is so true. Dogs have no idea, yesterday one of my daughter’s roommates asked, “You miss Fern, don’t you?” …. indeed it is odd not having a dog in the house, I think both of us (wife and I) do. I think they make us better people whatever color they might be. Have a wonderful weekend.

So true, Clay! Dogs really do make us better people. And the space they leave when they go is big. Sending you a big hug from Cooper!

I love Margaret’s use of the word ‘scrumptious’ to describe Cooper…even when he’s tinged with grass-green, LOL. I think scrumptious is a word that works for all the pics…so fab. xo! π₯°

I love your photos. Happy kids, sunny spring days, and beloved pets. We live in the shade of two small mountains and our lilacs and rhodies are just starting to flower. Itβs funny how our blooms are a little behind those as nearby as our downtown area.
