“Dreaming is happiness. Waiting is life.” – Victor Hugo

In between the pictures of all our activity this week: Easter egg hunts, parties, and catching the Ice Cream truck for the first time this season, I was drawn to these photos of my kids being still.

And the dog and the cat sat for still photos too.

It looks like our neighbor’s skeleton must have already gone to the dentist — because he’s all filled up!
Mr D looks so professional, And Miss O looks like she is making up a story in her head. The dog and cat look like perfect angels. What a fabulous family!

I told Cooper and Kitty that you thought there were perfect angels. They are soaking it up, Darlene!! Thank you!

It looks like you had a nice Easter week. Look at that bright green grass; we’re not quite there yet.

I guess there’s a reason Washington is called the Evergreen State. 🙂 Hope you get your green grass soon, Jane!

What activity is Miss O doing? I see music stands and risers in the background… Does D like playing catcher? He looks comfortable and confident in his stance😎 I forgot you guys had a cat! Tell Cooper he needs to share the pet pics 😁

Great questions, Todd! O was leading hand motions at church. D is playing coach pitch so there really isn’t a catcher position but he loves wearing the gear. I forget we have a cat sometimes too. 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend!

Stillness is pure joy. I get it in the morning before the day and sometimes, in an afternoon after school when all the kids and many of the teachers have gone home. Stillness. Thanks for the reminder to listen for it. As always your post captures the theme. Peace.

Mr. D has really grown up in the last year. His face looks more mature. Miss O looks so mature too. No more babies in your household, except the dog… ; )

Your comment made me look at the photos again, Rebecca! You’re right – they are looking so grown up. Thanks for pointing out what I sometimes miss! ❤

I knew dentists were two faced. Lecturing us on eating sugar and not brushing. And then filling in the donuts. I knew it, I knew it. Great shots Wynne.

So I’ve driven by two other Dunn Lumber locations this week and that one is the only one with the signs. That guy is a keeper! 🙂

Ya know, by the time Halloween rolls around, your neighborhood skeleton’s getup is probably a little anticlimactic!

Mr. D looks sharp in the photo. Miss O is definitely planning the next adventure. Cooper’s like, “Eh, whatever,” and the cat looks very classy. I love these weekly family photos. Thank you for including us in the fun.
