Photos of the Week: April 5

Let nothing dim the light that shines from within.” – Maya Angelou

I looked at all the pictures I took from the week and there were a lot, even when filtered out for the ones only we were in. Ice skating, hanging out with friends, April Fools Day, going to baseball practice, out for walks, visiting our neighborhood bunnies, enjoying the Spring weather – there was a lot of goodness.

So I tried to pick the three pictures I liked the best. I ended up with 10. 🙂

Cooper’s view of the neighborhood bunnies. They still don’t want to be friends with him. He’s very jealous that they’ll hang out with Miss O and Mr. D.

Our neighbor has a gorgeous Spring time garden. I bet it’s all the big bees that help!

On the first warm day of April, I’m guessing we were all feeling some re-leaf. Or that guy’s feet just stink.

  1. I always enjoy your photos of what you guys have been doing. I like the seasonal transition here: an ice skating rink, then lots of spring goodness. And I chuckled at the last two photos, with your comment about the guy’s feet! 🌞

  2. A new day. Spring is special, especially if the sun is shining in the right places. As always, your family is found by the light, Wynne.

  3. Wow, fantastic yard full of daffodils! Bunnies are nervous critters because they’re on everyone’s menu. Mr. D might try standing in one place for a couple minutes holding out a vegetable speaking very softly to attract a bunny.

  4. Love the signs of Spring in your photos, Wynne. Mr D’s costume, a snail?, is cute. And I can smell that photo of the feet by the window from over here! 😂

    1. I’m laughing from your comment about the feet. That’ll keep you out of the country! 🙂

The costume is supposed to be a bee stinger. A gift from our neighbors that are moving. No surprise they didn’t want to pack that along. 🙂

  5. Looks like you and the family had a fun weekend! Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures, too. Gardening is something I’d like to learn, so I hope mine one day looks as amazing as your neighbor’s.

  6. Wonderful photos, Wynne. Poor Cooper—I don’t think that relationship is going to flourish, even in spring. 😆 Was Mr. D’s pitch a strike? Nice form! And if Ms. O hit the ball, then we might be witnessing the next baseball superstar. I think that person is just doing Pilates. 😂
