Pool time…

Watching the freeway and the free breakfast buffet when we took an overnight getaway at a hotel less than a mile from home.

Mr. D’s first Little League practice. It was so fun that he wanted to podcast about it…stay tuned for that!

Signs of spring

Discarded socks and watermelon rinds. And Mr. D reading to Cooper who was a dog-gone good audience!

A perfectly balanced squirrel and the sign of the week.
Just the sweetest pic ever of Mr D and Cooper.

It’s hard to choose a favorite between the look of pure joy on Miss O’s face in the pool and Cooper’s look of concentration as he reads the book with Mr D. 😊

Oh yes – two of my favorites too, Jane! If we all listened as well as Cooper tries to (most of the time), the world would be a better place!

I can’t wait for the new Willie Mays to show his stuff! Mr. D might enjoy watching the clip of Mays’s famous catch in the 1954 World Series on YouTube.

I’m with you, Beth! Those rinds and socks…they speak volumes, don’t they? And I think you’re right…Mr. D. and Miss O are talented communicators…taking after their mama, for sure! 🥰

The sign on the door is awesome. I want that on a T-shirt! I look forward to Mr D’s podcast. And Cooper’s interest in the book is so darn cute!

Hopefully Mr. D doesn’t choose Old Yeller for story time next! We don’t want to traumatize poor Cooper.

Good point to remember to only read dog-friendly stuff! 🙂

Great photos, as always! I like Mr. D’s diet—Cheetos and a holy apple. What could be better than that? Cooper focusing on the reading lesson—priceless.

You have a good eye, Edward! Yep, we ate the best things when we were “away!” 🙂

We do the same thing and eat things we shouldn’t, but oh well. Cheetos are so good, and I can’t resist getting a bag with a Cherry Coke every time I go to a convenience store or travel. So, Mr. D chose right. 👍
