“May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.” – Apache Blessing

Basketball with a side of Aikido, and skateboarding

Ducks and geckos

Swords and Seattle from the Great Wheel

Cooper has figured out how to end a game of fetch. Also how to be seen in reflection.

I think the Dunn Lumber sign is encouraging our one hydrangea bud that’s resisting change to just start!
As always, Wynne, the photos of you with your children warm the heart. The Native American blessing, too, displays a wisdom we must not forget. Thank you.

I agree about that blessing too, Dr. Stein. May we keep that in the front of our hearts and minds!

Well said, Beth. We have a lot of life around here — it comes with a lot of clutter… 🙂

The moon was something else this week, even here in Wisconsin.
I took my daughter up in the Great Wheel once, and that remains a very happy memory. Even though Mark and heights don’t generally mix.

So funny you say that. Every time we hit the top of the ride on the first time around, I think, “Oh boy, this is going to be awful” but then it’s not bad. Love that you and your daughter did it too!

Thanks for sharing your week, Wynne. I love the full moon (it sure was a beauty!) and the Apache blessing. And I REALLY love the photo of the three of you with the Seattle skyline as a back drop. 🙂

Thank you, David. You put it perfectly that this is part of my practice of remembering all we do in a week! Thank you, my friend, for walking alongside!

Thank you, Erin! I find we are making a lot of memories — they often come with making messes too which I suppose is a lesson in and of itself! 🙂 ❤

Love, love, love! I don’t know why, but I always approach the Saturday round up wondering if I can pick a favorite. Once again. I cannot. Happy sighs over here…hugs to all! 🥰🥰🥰

Beautiful photos, Wynne! Love that Mr D brings his sword with him out in public. Never know when you’ll need it!
And love the hydrangeas in bloom as summer nears its end. 💕
PS. Look forward to listening to the podcast episode at the gym later this afternoon. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I did fret about a sword while riding in a glass box for a few moments but we kept it together… 🙂 Thanks, Ab!

Love the sign of the week and all the nuggets of wisdom you shared this week in these joyful moments. That hydrangea is still learning. She’ll change soon enough. Have a lovely weekend my friend. 💕

I took my youngest granddaughter up on the St. Louis Wheel last summer, the views are spectacular. We wanted to go with all the kids, but Mr. D backed out of it, he doesn’t like heights.
Glad you’re making so many wonderful memories!

Love that you all did the St. Louis wheel. It does look high from the ground but don’t you find it to be a pretty gentle motion? Thanks, Tamara!

It was incredibly smooth, and fully enclosed with AC in the summer, so it was an absolute pleasure! Vastly different from an old rickety Ferris wheel, exposed to the wind and other things!

Beautiful photos! My best friend who lives on the East Side keeps wanting to take me on the Great Wheel. I’m afraid of heights and don’t think I’d enjoy it. Is it scary?

I don’t like heights or rides and I’ve done the Great Wheel a number of times. While I like to rock climb and mountain climb, that’s totally different because I’m ON something!
The first time around I’m always a little skeptical but it’s a really gentle motion that doesn’t trigger my fear of heights either. I think it’s a good ride to try!

I love the resistant hydrangea! We planted some hydrangeas at the end of our deck last year, and they’ve doubled in size this year.

Basketball with Aikido? That’s got to be in the next Olympic Games! At the very least, it’s going to be better than breakdancing. 😂 Mr. D is the cool kid on the block, and Cooper is always awesome. Great pictures, Wynne!

I’m laughing about the breakdancing, Edward! I know I haven’t worn the kids out when they are up for basketball after Aikido. Such amazing energy! Thank you for the lovely commentary!

They have too much energy at that age. We’ll get worn out long before they do. You’re very welcome, Wynne.
