“Bless our house as we come and go. Bless our home as the children grow. Bless our families as they gather in. Bless our home with love and friends.” – unknown

Sometimes it takes out-of-town friends to remind us of the places in our own city. In this case, Pike Place Market which has the famous fish throwers. See orange circle in third picture which, now that I look at it, likes kinda like flying squirrel. No, I promise it’s a fish. But now that I’m thinking of it, catching a flying squirrel would be pretty impressive too.

Mr. D and Miss O at the Market do their best fish, pig and cute impressions.

Cooper graduated from Puppy Kindergarten and now thinks he’s ready to read. And also to make slime with Olivia and friends.

Rock ball star? And Miss O and Mr. D doing “pad” at night which is when she helps him write downs his thoughts and feelings before bed.

Leaning in to the holidays. Everyone and the dog is so helpful!

The sign of the week (also from Pike Place Market) and a found-in-a-bike lane, but still very cute and soft, heart.
Oh, I’ve been there to watch the fish fly! Can’t get over how fast the dog has grown.

I love these photos. Congrats to Cooper for completing Puppy Kindergarten! 💕
Many moons ago, I did customer service training at work – when they used to play VHS videos – and the famous fish throwers at Pike Place Fish Market was shown as an example of great service and team work.
It was very nice to see them and the market in person when I visited Seattle in 2011 with the hubby and his parents. I also had fried chicken gizzards from one of the stands and still remember how yummy they were.
Hope to visit again one day!

Flying squirrel!!! That literally was the first thing I thought and so confused about how a flying squirrel made it into the fish store at Pike Place. Huge change since the last time I was there 😉
Love all the pics this week 🙂

Oh, I’m howling Deb. Wouldn’t that be hilarious?! I mean probably not for the squirrel but your comment is priceless. It would be a HUGE change! 🙂

We might not have it together, but together we have it all. I like that saying. I’ve never heard it before, but so true.

I like that saying too. It fits my family well… 🙂 ❤

I wonder if the great fish throwers ever throw a curve all with a fish?
LikeLiked by 1 person
That’s a great question. We were there just as they opened so they might not have been warmed up. One of the return throws went a little wide and the guy up front needed to stretch a little bit for it. He made it look cool but I’m sure fish have been dropped. 🙂

And I was a bit taken aback by the flying fish when I visited Pike Place Market this summer! No-one warned me.

I can see how that would be surprising, Michelle! A whole other type of flying fish! 🙂 And Cooper (and I) say thanks. 🙂

Cooper just wants to read too. And yes, I trust him to watch the turkey and more. Love the kiddos faces. Miss O’s faces are so funny. Mr. D can play at my house anytime he wants. Speaking of which, I see a new business miss O and Mr D’s own tree trimming business! 😄😄😄😄

Miss O and Mr D are coming right over to trim your tree, Brian! 🙂 Cooper wants to tag along because you already trust him. They all know a good sport when they meet one! 🙂 ❤ ❤

I LOVE the photo of Mr D and Miss O with the fish. I also noticed in the photo of them overlooking the water that they look quite a lot like each other. Love those dimples! 🙂

Thanks, Susan! They do like to ham it up. Which is probably the wrong phrase to use about a picture with a fish but you know what I mean… 🙂

These all are spectacular photos brimming with joy. Pike Place Market is fun to visit and reminds me of the fish markets here. Though I think a whole octopus is more than $14.99 in Portugal 🐙. Happy holiday wishes to you and your family, Wynne ❤️
