Photos of the Week: July 8

When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.” – Marcus Aurelius

4th of July!

And the guest of honor for the 4th of July show was blogger, Betsy Kerekes (Motherhood and Martial arts blog, formerly Parenting is Funny) who came with her hubby to spend 2 days in Seattle. So fun to hang with this dear blog buddy in person!!

Chasing after my favorite unicorn.

This is how we roll.

Hearts of the week – brought to us from CA by the amazing Betsy Kerekes. And I love this sign of the week!

  1. It seems like you and Vicki are becoming the champions of face to face meetings with the blogging world. I am not surprised, Wynne! You draw the world.

    1. Ah, thank you, Dr. Stein. As you’ve said, there are nuances that are perceptible in face-t0-face that aren’t easily done in Zoom so I really enjoy it.

    1. It was a fun way. My brother’s boat happened to be moored in a great spot to see the fireworks without having to be a part of the big crowd. Yay! Hope you are having a great weekend, Brian!

  3. Love, love, love all of these! And I’m with Deb – I love the ‘wagon caravan’ and the extra ‘caboose’. So happy you had a good visit with Betsy…fireworks and all! What a week! 🥰

    1. What a week indeed! Yes, our current “puppy” is quite compliant in that scenario. I’m thinking our next addition isn’t going to be so but I bet we’ll have fun. Happy weekend my friend!

  4. Beautiful quote Wynne! I woke up on a tiny island called Ponza in Italy and the view was astonishing! The quote made me think how lucky I am to be able to see it with my family.
