I somehow had neglected to take my children to the iconic Seattle Troll under the bridge until this week. Thank goodness I remedied that so that Miss O could practice her best scared face!

A troll, egg hunt and the President. What a packed few days your kids had!
Is that a kids playhouse in your backyard or are your kids unusually tall? ๐ Itโs very cool! I bet they love it in there.

Oh my goodness – I’m laughing. Mr. D is not that tall! ๐ We had multiple egg hunts. That is the playhouse in someone else’s yard and it is so cool (a playhouse with a porch?) that it makes the one in our yard pale in comparison!

That troll is amazing!

He is! And he’s held up pretty well over the years with everyone climbing on him. Under his left hand is a VW bug which is amazing in and of itself. Thanks for commenting!

That troll is just about the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! We will definitely have to see that next time we are in Seattle. Thank you for sharing, Wynne ๐

Isn’t it amazing? When I took them to visit it, my daughter said, “How come you didn’t show us this before?” I took that as a great sign that she thought it was really cool too! ๐ Happy Sunday, Grace!

What fun those Easter egg hunts are for kids. My newly-turned-17-year-old wasn’t even too old to participate. ๐
Random aside: we have that same frog potty but with a blue bowl instead of white. ๐

Oh, I’m so heartened to hear that the egg hunt fun continues into the teens! You have a 17-year-old – Wow!!
Funny about the froggy potty. So useful!!

The froggy potty is super useful, especially when you have a sick child. Keep it close!

Oh wow, never thought of that for the froggy potty. Brilliant!

You know, for all the many visits to Seattle I’ve made, I never once saw the troll under the bridge. I have, however, added my contribution to the gum wall, so I’m not a total slacker!

That’s funny about the gum wall. I’ve never done that but I bet my kids would love it. This prompted a vague recollection that they cleaned the gum wall so I looked it up. They cleaned it in 2015 and took off a literal ton of gum (2,350 pounds). Making room for new additions. ๐

We were last there in 2017 and it was still pretty gummy even then! Must be a lot more so now.
